Join us at our Parish Picnic: September 8
Jamaica Trip to Work with the Poor
Join Sacred Heart parishioners and friends at our annual Parish Picnic on Sunday, September 8, from 12-3 p.m on the greenspace behind our parish.
Sacred Heart provides the main course, just bring a dish to share, and your own utensils, plates and drinks.
Work on South Entrance
Our thanks to Ray Lind of our parish who helped lead a group (including Fr. Anthony and Fr. Charles) down to Jamaica to work with the poor. Great work to all who went and supported these efforts! If you are interested in learning more or going next year please contact our office and we’ll get you in touch with Ray.
Porch Party: July 27
Work is now underway on our south entrance! Soon, a new driveway will be poured and extra gravel will be used to expand our parking lot to the east!
Project 177 Returns to Sacred Heart on September 29
Join us for our next Porch Party on Saturday, July 27, following our 5:15 p.m. Vigil Mass! Grillmaster Duncan Kramer will be behind the grill serving up something delicious! Parishioners and friends are invited to bring a dish to share! Our Porch Parties are a great way to spend time with parishioners and friends and get to know each other better!
Flowers for the Blessed Mother
Mark your calendars and plan on joining us Sunday, Sept 29 at 6 p.m. for an amazing night of worship music and more!
Blue Mass to be celebrated at Sacred Heart
Do you have a flower garden that is thriving in all this rain? Would you like to share those flowers with the Blessed Mother? It would be wonderful to provide her with fresh flowers all summer long! Sacred Heart Sodality invites you to bring in bouquets, large and small, to be placed under her statue. We have vases for your use. For more information contact Gina Howell
A Blue Mass is a Mass celebrated in the Catholic Church for those employed in the public safety field including police officers, firefighters, correctional officers, 911 operators and EMS personnel.
